After many years of much work and effort from all LGTB Associations, in 2005 we achieved the legal recognition of same-sex marriage.
We at the Lesbians´Group believe there´s still a long way to go to achieve full equality, so we carry still carry on, standing up for the rights of lesbians, gay men, transexuals and bisexuals, always from a lesbian and feminist perspective.
The Lesbians´group is an open space which you can join and participate in, whether you feel like working on a project or take part on social activities.
The group is structured into working groups or subgroups:
1. Team of editors of our monthly magazine So Lesbian (Tan bollo!!!) which you can find on our Documents section.
2. Working group: Activism in the strictest sense of the work, political participation, standing up for LGTB rights.
3.
Co-ordinating Group. This is where the leisure group´s monthly activities are put together.
4. Leasure group, its focus being pure socialising. This group attends the various activities arranged by the co-ordinating group: chats and discussions on various issues, sports, monthly dinners (third Saturday of the month), cinema, theatre
As you can see the range is wide. Whatever you wish to do (activism, culture, socialising), there´s a place for you within the group.
