When you invite a stranger round to your place, you should heed the below recommendations: 

• In case of danger, call 112 or alert someone in any other way.
  

• If you begin to feel uncomfortable, make it clear you want to stop

• Keep your valuables or credit cards out of sight. Do not keep your PIN numbers in writing or anywhere visible. 
  

• If you invite someone round, ensure there is always at least one more name on your post box. Never disclose the fact you live by yourself. Make it possible for your flatmate or partner to get back in at any time.
  

• Write down somewhere visible how you met the person you invited round, as well as any contact details you can get from them.
  

• Keep a supply of condoms, lub, towels or any other items you might need.
